Trust services - Monday, 19 September

Following the death of HM Queen Elizabeth II, it has been confirmed that the funeral will be held on Monday, 19 September. This will also be a national bank holiday.

To ensure minimal disruption to our patient care we will be running selected services on the bank holiday including all urgent and emergency care, planned operations and outpatients.

Our teams are contacting patients directly to see if they would like to continue with their appointments and scheduled operations on Monday. For those who wish to attend, please do so as planned.

However, we understand that some will prefer to change to another date. For those who choose to reschedule we will arrange a revised appointment as soon as possible.

Some pharmacists and GP surgeries will be closed on the bank holiday so please check your local services. NHS 111 is also available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week if you have an urgent healthcare need that isn't a life-threatening situation.
