Day in the Life Season 2 Episode 4 - Crocus home birth team
Season 2 of Day in the Life is coming to an end, but we’re going out in style with the Crocus home birth team.
This season we’ve been given behind the scene access to just a few of the incredible teams in Croydon. Just like the others, the Crocus home birth team did not disappoint!
The Day in the life series gives you a deeper perspective into what keep #TeamCroydon going. We speak to staff on the frontline and in essential support roles, to find out in their own words:
- What they enjoy most about their role?
- How the COVID-19 pandemic has impacted them?
- What makes them proud to work for Croydon Health Services NHS Trust?
Lucy Winter and Remi Carthy, both Crocus Home birth team midwives, give us an insight into what it’s like to be a midwife in Croydon, with the perspective of working in the community. We find out some of their biggest challenges, as well as what the team prides itself on.
Check out the Crocus Home birth teams ‘Day in the Life’ video below, or you can find it on our Instagram , Twitter , or Facebook account.
