Charity funding makes ED staff cozy

This week our amazing Emergency Department team transformed their space with some much needed furniture, taking their space from zero to a thousand in the style ranks.

The Trust charity provided charitable funding totalling £11,000 to get the team ultra-cosy, with staff seating fit for relaxation and rest. The new seating has been installed in the main ED rest area and staff are already benefiting from the enhanced comfort. They will now be able to enjoy their breaks and lunches with soft and comfortable furnishings, easily wipe able, made with long lasting materials.

It has given staff a dream space away from their busy and often challenging days in one of London’s busiest Emergency Services departments.

Mark Bhebhe- Head of Nursing ED and SDEC in the team said:

“On behalf of ED, I would like to thank the charity for such a thoughtful donation. The chairs will allow the ED team a more relaxed and comfortable space in which they take their well-earned breaks".
