Wellbeing Week's big step challenge

Wellbeing is about many things, and a big part of it is physical fitness. That’s why we are launching our Big Step Challenge!

Starting on the 7th October, for 6 weeks, you can sign up to take part in a walking challenge in teams of 2 – 6 people, by registering your steps and inputting them into our special challenge website to try and walk from Land’s End to John O’Groats. That is from the southernmost point of the UK to the northernmost point, without ever leaving Croydon!

You can count your steps with a pedometer, with Google fit, with a fitbit, with Apple health or any other way you like. Then you input your steps and you will virtually move along our route from one end of the UK to the other.

We are also encouraging everyone involved to use this opportunity to help other people’s wellbeing by fundraising at the same time! Every step can also be a step towards our new Paediatric Integrated Unit, by raising money for Chartwell Cancer Charity and the Lilypad Appeal.

Everyone who joins the challenge can set up a JustGiving page to raise money and then donate the funds to our PIU via the Chartwell website (Charity number 1109784).

The first 200 people to sign up will get a special goodie bag to celebrate them coming on board, so if you've already registered, complete the form below to share your details:
