All newborn babies in Croydon are entered into the newborn hearing screening programme provided by Hounslow and Richmond Community Trust for South West London. The service is based in the Maternity Unit, Croydon University Hospital.

All babies are screened before discharge and electrophysiological testing is also available for babies not able to co-operate with routine testing.
