We diagnose and treat patients with all endocrine conditions. Some of the most common conditions diagnosed and treated are;

• Thyrotoxicosis
• Thyroid nodule
• Adrenal conditions
• Parathyroid conditions
• PCOS
• Pituitary conditions

We have two general endocrine clinics; there is a weekly clinic for pregnant mothers with endocrine conditions who will need to be followed throughout their pregnancy by a specialist endocrinologist as well as an Obstetrician.

We use low dose radiotherapy to treat over active or enlarged thyroid glands in co-ordination with the nuclear medicine team at St George’s hospital.

We have trained staff who manage the specialist investigations on the medical day ward.

We work closely with in-house thyroid and parathyroid surgeons, as well as external endocrine surgeons and neurosurgeons at St George’s and King’s College hospital. We have shared care in the follow up of thyroid cancers with the Royal Marsden hospital.


Clinics

These take place in the Fracture Outpatients Departments of Croydon University Hospital and we also provide telephone clinics.

What should I bring to my appointment?

Please bring a list of all your medications – tablets, injections etc.
 

What time should I arrive for my appointment?

Ideally, 10-15 minutes before your allotted appointment time, in order that you can be weighed and have your pulse and blood pressure taken.
