About us
The hearing centre offers comprehensive assessment, diagnosis, treatment plans and rehabilitation for adults with hearing and/or balance disorders. The team works closely with the ear, nose and throat (ENT) department and within ENT clinics to provide a holistic approach to care.
Outpatient clinics are available at Croydon University Hospital and Purley War Memorial Hospital.
Opening Times for the Hearing Centre at Croydon University Hospital
Mondays to Fridays 9:00 am to 12:30 pm and 1:30 pm to 16:30 pm.
Please note the service is closed at weekends and for public holidays.
Treatment
The service provides and fits hearing aids for patients. This includes a convenient postal service for repairs and batteries for all hearing aids provided by the Trust.
A tinnitus service offers counselling, stress management, installation of white noise generators and comprehensive treatment plans on a case-by-case basis. The team can offer group tinnitus sessions for suitable referrals.
